I am so sad to hear that Babu has passed. My thoughts are with Sunama and the children. I have just finished reading the book and the story is such a complex and courageous one. I can imagine Sunama and the family are so thankful to have had yours and Vidya's support.

I read your book and came straight to the web site to read how you are all doing. I was so sad to read of Babu's death but the relief of knowing Sunama and her family are safe because of your family is immense. Thank God there are people like you in the world. Thank goodness they have you. Words cannot describe just how much your story moved me. I will find a way to help.

Thankyou Julia and family, your love and dedication to Sunama and the children show that there is still so much love in the world. It is wonderful to follow your lives and those of your family in India. Zeenath is certainly growing up and is gorgeous. Then again she was gorgeous even with her head shaved. Send love to Sunama from us all in Australia so as to give her support since Babu's death.

I finished reading 'Love Our Way' yesterday. I could not wait to jump on the internet to find out more. I was hoping to read that Babu was growing stronger every day.

Unfortunately this has not been the case. My heart breaks for Sunama and the constant loss she has had to endure. I now grieve for Babu along with the entire Rollings families.

While I will never understand the injustices of this world, I am happy there are people like Julia and her family who make the world a better place.

God bless all the good people.

I was an Aussie child who was born and grew up in B'desh and went to boarding school in Darjeeling and Ootacamund. As such I could relate to so many of the scenes you described. I also finished the book today and jumped on the blog and was sad to see Babu had died. I trust life will improve for Sunama and the 5 who are with her in India and am glad you are all in her life.

I was also saddened to hear of Babu's death, but I cant help wondering if that is why you got to meet the family at the time when you did, its like you were meant to find Sunama so as when Babu passed you would be there to help and support her. You are such a wonderful family. Thank you for writing the book. Kazza New Zealand.xx

I have just finished reading "Love Our Way", given to me by my daughter for Mothers Day. What a wonderful story, and such a special family, part of which is in India. So sad to hear of the passing of Babu and hope and pray that Sunama is coping with the support of the Australian part of the family.

Have just finished reading your story..........I was hoping that life would have been kinder to Sunama, Babu and their family.........I'm sure with such a loving extended family her sadness may have been a bit easier to deal with..........my prayers are with them.......

Just finished reading your lovely book. So sorry to hear that Babu had died. We have 2 adopted children. (Australian) , and perhaps if I had read your book earlier--maybe we would have brought our children up differently...was terrified we would lose them!!!But we are now friends with both families, and it is great, and so grateful, these children were up for adoption...
In the 60s and things weren't as they should have been, but we shall be forever grateful..Thank you for a lovely true story... Yours Jean
