Little Zeenath starts school

Vidya has sent an update on Sunama's gorgeous younger children. Sunama had recently decided that four-year-old Zeenath should join her older brothers and sisters at The Ashram, taking advantage of the education facilities that are a significant improvement on those available in her village. Zeenath has settled in quickly and is now attending the Montessori pre-primary school. She is very happy to be with her siblings.
All the older children are happy and confident students. We are eagerly waiting to receive our first letter written in English by Fareeda, while the younger children have sent us drawings. It will be a wonderful development to be able to exchange letters with the children, which will hopefully encourage them further in their English language classes.

I have just finished reading your book for the second
Time and it is great to see the photos and hear
Your latest news. Just one question though, where do you go or who do you talk to, to start the international adoption process?

If you email me on my email address of jurol@hotmail.com and tell me what state you live in, I'd be happy to send you some info on adopting.
cheers,
Julia

Great blog!! Thank you for sharing! So encouraging and I can't wait to read your book. Do you know any information on the current situation with India adoptions? I feel that God is leading my heart in that direction.

I just finished your book and was sad to read on this blog of Babu's death. What a beautiful book - a perfect example of how if each of help people in our little corner we can help the world as a whole.

Love to all the children and blessings to Sunama.

Julia, Thank you for putting your blogspot in your book which I, only this week, came upon at the Library. What an amazing story! Now I can get to read your updates and I look forward to hearing about your visit to India this year. Congratulations to all in your families, for showing us there are wonderful people in this often harsh world in which we live. You are ALL amazing, including Sunama.

Having just finshed your book today it was lovely to be able to read the ongoing story on this blog, although very sad to read of Babu's death. We have 2 adotped children from Thailand (aged 14 and 10) and I am very grateful to you all, and especially to Akil, Sabi and Sunama for sharing your families story so far. Although there is often little information available for our children you have inspired me to dig deeper when we are next back in Thailand. Kind Regards, W.

Hi Julia,
I recieved a copy of your book through your Mum, Jean. I was a physio student that was working at her villiage and I loved seeing her twice a week and heard lots of stories about you and your family through her. She is such a lovely lady and so so proud of you and your children. Thankyou so much for my copy, I absolutely loved it and it was so great to put stories and pictures to the names I had heard so much about when talking to your mum! Your family has such an admirable grounding. I am no longer working at your Mum's villiage unfortunately, but when you see her, please let her know that I read and loved every minute of the book!

Dear Julia
I recieved your book as a Christmas present and finished it in two days. Thankyou for sharing your families story with us all. My heart and head feels great emotion for what you have all been through. Sad to hear that Babu passed away. Sunama has had many trails in her life but is able to continue on with love and dignity. You and your family has enriched their lives thankfully, as she and her family have enriched yours. Thankyou again for this true story of such courage and love.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I bought it not long after it was on the shelves and have just read it a second time over the past few days. It is so good to see that you have such a wonderful ongoing relationship with Sunama and her children. I was sad to read of Babu's death, but happy to see that their lives have greatly improved with the love and support they have received, not only from your family, but other fundraisers and well wishers.
I look forward to further news.
